Dublin Glammed Up for Moët Party Day
Last Saturday 11th of June, the world celebrated the joy of Champagne with the first global Moët Party Day. Over 30 countries joined the celebration and more than 150 events were organised. Ireland celebrated with an unrivalled party experience, as VIP guests traveled to three of Dublin’s top venues and enjoyed a unique #MoetMoment at each, with the help of influencers Vogue Williams, Roz Purcell, James Kavanagh and James Patrice as host for the evening.
The evening begun at The Black Door with a Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut reception. Host, James Patrice, encouraged guests to join people from New Zealand to Mexico as they raised a toast around the world for Moët Party Day! Guests enjoyed delicious food pairings created by James Kavanagh and William Murray of Currabinny, while the foodie duo spoke through the bespoke recipes with Moët & Chandon sommelier, Julie Dupouy.
Then the party moved to Café en Seine, where delicious French sweet treats created by Cake Face Pastry and party-ready mini Moët & Chandon bottles awaited. Author and top model Roz Purcell recounted the story of the first Champagne Spray -by American driver and winner of the 24-hour Le Mans race Dan Gurney in 1967- and then proceeded to recreated the actions by opening a Magnum bottle of Moët & Chandon just that way.
The third charming spot was Lillie’s Bordello, where Celebrity DJ, Vogue Williams took to the decks to spin a special Moët Party Day playlist as guests posed for pictures at the #MoëtPartyDay selfie mirror with party props and confetti pops! The glasses turned pink as Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial was the drink of choice to close a perfect evening.
