Expert Goodness at the Launch of The Juicery at The Westbury

The Westbury The juicery

Nutrition and taste came together on Monday January 11th at the launch of the The Juicery at The Westbury, with Guest of honour The Juicery founder Cindy Palusamy. The Juicery is a new approach to healthy drinking, and at the event guests sampled some of the signature juices and smoothies that have been developed by international leaders in nutrition, health, fitness, beauty and integrative medicine.

The launch of The Juicery across the Doyle Collection‘s Irish hotels comes after the amazing success of The Juicery in the Irish family owned business’s London hotels; The Marylebone, The Kensington and The Bloomsbury. From January, this unique offering of nutritious juices and smoothies is available in The Westbury, The Croke Park and The River Lee.

The Juicery believes nutrition and taste go hand in hand; all of their juices are handmade with locally-sourced organic ingredients that nourish the body and satisfy taste buds. Adding a unique edge to their offering, The Juicery collection of juices and smoothies has been created by experts in nutrition and integrative medicine, Nutritional Therpaist Amelia Freer and Dr. Alejandro Junger, founder of the ‘Clean’, the most supportive detox program on the planet.

Pat King CEO of The Doyle Collection spoke at the event,

Food and Beverage is such an integral part of The Doyle Collection experience. Our menus in all our restaurants and bars are inspired by the best in local and artisanal produce, offering uncomplicated food, made from the highest quality ingredients, be they farmed, foraged or fished. The Juicery is one of the key attributes that sets us apart from our competitors and allows our hotels to cater to our customers’ needs and busy lifestyles, where time is precious and nutrition is key. Our guests have many choices! They can if they wish detox with a wonderful juice from The Juicery along with a superfood salad during the day and retox later that night in one of our beautifully appointed restaurants and bars”.

New York based Cindy Palusamy spoke about how it was only when she introduced juices into her diet that she realised how it really felt to feel good and healthy. Along with healthy food, juice made a huge impact in her life and she wanted to share that. With a background in hospitality, beauty and wellness, Cindy developed the idea of ‘expert goodness’, collaborating with top experts in health, nutrition and beauty to create a truly unique juice offering. Crucially for Cindy, The Juicery is not about deprivation, instead balancing goodness with taste and her approach emphasises balance. “I can always be seen at a hotel with a Superfood salad, a juice and fries” Cindy added laughing.

Leading a panel discussion, Cindy spoke with representatives from Space NK Apothecary from the UK, and their Grafton Street store discussing how health and beauty go hand in hand, and Space NK’s new wellness campaign; Beautifully Balanced. One lucky guest walked away with a hamper of Space NK luxury health and detox products.

Cindy promotes having a healthy beverage a day, and now you can get your fix with The Juicery in The Westbury, The Croke Park and The River Lee. Whether you are looking for antioxidants, a detox or for some vitality and energy, The Juicery has a delicious selection of natural smoothies, shots and juice blends that taste as good as they are for you. The Hollywood juice, created with carrot, orange, turmeric and mint leaves promises to re-vitalise and energise, and milkshakes need no longer be a guilty treat with the Malted Milkshake, a combination of coconut water, almond butter, dates and vanilla protein created for The Juicery by Dr Alexander Junger.
