Fire Restaurant and Lounge to Open on Good Friday

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge on Dublin’s Dawson Street will open and welcome guests this Good Friday, 3rd April. While operating in full compliance with the licensing laws, the award winning FIRE’s decision to open dramatically improves the options for tourists and locals this Good Friday as one of the very few restaurants open in the city.

“Tourism is enormously important to Ireland, Dublin and our business,” said Padraic O’Kane of FIRE. “We’ve a hard won reputation for a Céad Míle Fáilte, yet each year for one night, at the start of the vital tourist season, restaurants and bars are shuttered. We decided that this would be the year that we’d buck the trend, and throw open our doors.”

Open in the lounge from midday, and in the restaurant from 1pm ‘til late, FIRE has created a special menu of non-alcoholic cocktails, and carefully sourced non-alcoholic wines to complement the new, exciting menus. As required by law, all beer taps and alcohol will be covered, but FIRE’s stunning interior, glamorous cocktail lounge and terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s garden will ensure a memorable dining experience.

Booking for the restaurant is strongly advised, with walk-ins welcome too. Whether for a post-shopping pick me up afternoon coffee in the lounge, or dinner with friends in the restaurant, FIRE Restaurant and Lounge boasts one of the largest, most impressive dining room in the city, and anticipates welcoming many hundreds of guests throughout the day, evening and night.
