Celebrate this Dublin Bar’s Birthday with Free Pints and Toasties Tonight

Tuesday is looking a whole lot brighter as city centre favourite Mary’s Bar on Wicklow Street celebrates three years of pulling pints, by pulling the very best kind of pint – a free one.

To mark their third birthday, the quirky spot which describes itself as ‘a pub, a hardware store and a shop’ in the heart of town is offering party goers free pints of Guinness and cheese toasties to literally toast the occasion.

Although Mary’s is only three, it sits in the former Wicklow Hotel, which counted Michael Collins and his cohorts as regulars during the War of Independence – so there is plenty of history behind this retro watering hole.

To add to the party, which kicks off at 5.30pm, the complimentary toasties and pints will be accompanied by an Irish trad session from 7.30pm, in-keeping with Marys’ weekly Trad Tuesday ritual which attracts crowds every week.

The delicious goodies are available on first come first served basis, so getting there early is a must. Post work drinks on a Tuesday never sounded so good, and it would be rude not to pop in to help celebrate the occasion surely? Bonus: if you arrive after all the toasties have been demolished, you can always pop downstairs for a WOW burger.
