The Dublin Gin Festival’s Gin Fusion is returning to the city this June bank holiday, much to the delight of gin lovers everywhere.
From May 31st- June 3rd 2018, Gin Fusion is taking over Eatyard + The Bernard Shaw for a long weekend dedicated to all things gin, Bodytonic style.
There will be brilliant botanicals, proud gin smiths, pop-up cocktail bars, talks, tastings, masterclasses, pairings, food, DJs, live music and plenty of interactive gin activities.
The event first began in 2013 and has continued to grow every year as the love for gin shows no signs of slowing down.
This year, the hugely popular Afternoon G+Tea will be back as Bloom Gin partner again with The Cupcake Bloke for a decadent gin based afternoon tea, which was a total sell-out last year.
The Opihr Bloody Marie Brunch will match the Big Blue Bus sourdough brunch pizza with Opihr Gin Bloody Mary’s (or Marie when made with gin!). Whitley Neill will host gin blending masterclasses in the Eatyard Bunker Kitchen, where you can forage for your own botanicals on our roof top and blend your own gin to take home.
The Eatyard Stage itself will host talks, tastings and masterclasses all weekend, giving you a chance to meet and chat with gin smiths, learn how to make gin sorbet with dry ice and how to dress your drinks.
The event is free to enter, but advance €10 tickets will guarantee entry, include a Beefeater Gin & Tonic on arrival in your free festival glass to take home.
And finally, one for the environment. This event is a plastic straw free event, so feel free to bring your own reusable straw or alternatively, you can purchase a reusable stainless steel straw from the bars.
