Last Tuesday 30th January, Dublin welcomed the opening of the much-anticipated Glovers Alley, a brand-new restaurant located at 128 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.
The high end restaurant is the first of Dublin-born Executive Chef Andy McFadden and it promises to become one of the city’s most exciting and beautiful places to eat. Andy worked his way up in Ireland with summer stints at Neven Maguire’s MacNean House, as well as Michelin starred L’Ecrivain before making the move to London.
Glovers Alley is located within the Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin, in the former home of Thornton’s Restaurant. Joining him in this exciting new venture, Philip Roe will take up the role of Head Chef and Aoife Noonan leaves the John Farrell group to become Executive Pastry Chef.
The exclusive launch took place in the opulent surrounds of the glamourous yet informal space as guests were treated to the first taste of Andy McFadden’s culinary delights.
