Gourmet Food Parlour and FoodFlicker Strengthen their Healthy Partnership

Restaurant and catering group Gourmet Food Parlour has recently announced their partnership with FoodFlicker, the online nutrition and performance resource. Both companies will work together to bring healthy, nutritious FoodFlicker specials to all of the Gourmet Food Parlour restaurants.

This is not Gourmet Food Parlour’s and FoodFlicker first collaboration. The restaurant is the proud official nutritional partner of the Dublin GAA County Board, provide training re-fuel meals for Leinster Rugby and work directly with performance nutritionist Daniel Davey, co-founder of FoodFlicker, to cater for each player’s dietary needs. Now those visiting any of Gourmet Food Parlour’s restaurants will be able to choose Food Flicker approved meals from their menu. To identify them, simply look for the Food Flicker logo next to the approved dishes in the list.

Speaking about the partnership, Gourmet Food Parlour Director Lorraine Heskin said; “We are so happy to work with such a fast growing and respected company as FoodFlicker. Their work with elite sports teams and athletes has brought us closer together over time to design and deliver nutritionally strong meals.”

Daniel Davey welcomes the healthy partnership with Gourmet Food Parlour adding: “Through that association, we have formed a strong partnership to bring nutrition and taste together via FoodFlicker approved menus at a restaurant level and I look forward to building ongoing weekly chef specials and videos for the website for customers to enjoy.”

FoodFlicker co-founder and performance nutritionist to the Dublin Senior Hurlers, Brendan Egan, adds “They have made my job of ensuring these athletes meet their nutrition needs so much easier through their high standards, innovation and flexibility.”
