Calling All Food Lovers – The Gourmet Trail is Returning to Cork For This Year’s Oyster Festival

Calling all food lovers! The Cork Gourmet Trail is taking place this year as part of the Cork Oyster Festival and it’s sure to be a wonderful celebration of food and wine.

Kicking off in the Metropole Hotel in Cork city with a gin reception at 12 noon sharp, the Cork Gourmet Trail will take visitors through some of the city’s best and most delicious food and drink venues.

Guests will register for the trail as they enjoy a drinks reception. They will then be split into teams to begin an exciting trail across Cork City to sample the best of fine food and wine.

As you sample the locally sourced produce created by a number of Cork’s finest venues, including, Amicus, Cask, The Cornstore, Greenes, the New Yorker, Olivo, Rachel’s, The Metropole Hotel, The Imperial Hotel, Kinsale Gin, The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega, The Oyster Tavern and the newly opened Docklands.

The trail will last until approximately 5pm and then guests will return to the Metropole Hotel for the Gourmet Trail after party.

The Cork Oyster festival, now in its sixth year, will be a feast for lovers of all things from the deep, with a main hub in the Metropole Hotel on MacCurtain Street and events taking place in many more venues across Cork City.

Running as part of Cork Oyster Festival, the Cork Gourmet Trail is taking place on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018. Tickets are priced at €75 and are available in participating venues.
