The Guinness Storehouse to Celebrate International Stout Day with a Four-Day Festival

On the 2nd of November 2017, the world celebrates International Stout Day. At the Guinness Storehouse, home of the most iconic stout, the festivities will be taken to the next level as they’ll host their first ever International Stout Festival, running for four days, until Sunday 5th of November.

They’ve prepared a four-day long celebration with a special line-up of diverse and colourful beer experiences including beer talks with Guinness Beer Experts and Brewers, exclusive tours of St. James’s Gate Brewery, deep dive sessions into the Guinness Archives and special tastings of its much-loved stout beers – all included in the general admission price.

Some very lucky visitors might even be surprised with “golden ticket” Guinness experiences. These include special stout tastings in the Guinness Storehouse’s hidden bar, the Connoisseur Bar or a seat at a Chef’s Table’s dining experience, as well as the chance to enjoy a pint of the Black Stuff with Arthur Guinness’s great, great, great, great grandson. If you want to be in with a chance of securing a golden ticket, all you have to do is book your ticket online.

The beer is a vanilla and bourbon brewed in the Guinness Open Gate Brewery with ingredients such fresh vanilla pods from Madagascar and Bulleit Bourbon from the US.

Food lovers will also be treated to a special event: Justin O’Connor, Guinness Storehouse Executive Chef, and internationally acclaimed chef, Liam Kirwan have teamed up to create a unique stout inspired five course menu for a once off Guinness Supper Club on Friday, 3 November 2017
