The Shelbourne Hotel Dublin has launched a Quintessentially Irish Signature Cocktail Menu, and has also given us a sneak peek into the talent behind these creative recipes.
Created by Bar Manager Sean McGoldrick and his team of mixologists, the cocktail menu uses predominantly Irish ingredients and liqueurs, including some homemade additions.
The goal was to create a unique range of cocktails that showcase Irish produce and talent within the industry.
This month’s cocktail of choice is named Damson in Distress and is created using Mango Infused Pisco, Wild Damson Liqueur, Lemon, Sugar and Maqui Mandra Tea Foam.
In the video above, Horseshoe Bartender Marianne Healy shows her creative skills while crafting her cocktail, Damson in Distress.
Marianne began working in The Shelbourne following her study at D.I.T Cathal Brugha Street and D.I.T Bar Studies Management and Entrepreneurship.
She now works closely with Sean, creating new recipes for their Signature Cocktail Lists and constantly evolving her skills and trade.
