Whiskey Lovers Rejoice – A New Irish Whiskey Has Launched in Dublin

There’s a new Irish Whiskey for drinks lovers to get their hands on. Launched this week in Howth, Co. Dublin, Lambay Irish Whiskey Company will delight the palates of whiskey lovers.

Sabine Sheehan, Brand Manager for Lambay Irish Whiskey Company, said: “Our approach in the Irish market will be simple but challenging, geo-targeting consumers in key locations both in the on-trade and off-trade and driving brand awareness over the next three years.”

She added: “We are a small craft Irish Whiskey brand focused on building a community of ‘whiskey lovers’ around Ireland. We are delighted to partner with Comans Beverages as our national distributor, they see the long-term vision for LIWC and are best placed in the Irish market to support our strategy.”

Lambay Irish Whiskey is a portfolio of Irish Whiskeys that bring a unique cognac cask finish to the Irish whiskey category. Created through a collaboration of leading family owned Cognac producer- Camus and the Baring Revelstoke Trust, the whiskeys are inspired by and named after the island of Lambay, Ireland, a private wildlife sanctuary owned by the Baring Family since 1904.

The portfolio includes Lambay Small Batch Blend and Lambay Single Malt. Lambay Irish Whiskey combines centuries old Irish whiskey distilling expertise with equally renowned French cognac blending and maturing expertise. What has been created is a new and very unique Irish whiskey with a cognac cask finish.

Through the strong distribution links of Camus Wines and Spirits, Lambay Whiskey is being positioned in global travel retail hubs such as Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai, Seoul, Berlin and of course on Irish soil soon in Dublin.
