A Smooth and Balanced Red that Offers Great Value and Even Better Taste

If Syrah was a human, it would have a magnetic personality and a distinctive style: not too over the top, but flashy enough to stand out in a crowd.

It would be the type of person that gets away with spicy comments and it’d have a loud, contagious laugh, but thanks to its sense of appropriateness it would show restrain and elegance when the situation requires it.

Leyda Syrah ReservaLeyda Syrah Reserva would be a sophisticated and smooth individual. It would be comfortable in the Chilean region’s cool coastal climate.

Its tannins are as velvety and wrapping as the plush coat it’d wear and it has a nose of ripe cherries and cranberries sprinkled with black and white pepper.

A delicate hint of vanilla and toast completes the pleasant character and adds depth to it.

It’s a perfumed and balanced red with a manageable 13.5% ABV and a medium body. It’d go very well with lamb or duck.

Leyda Syrah Reserva is available at O’Briens Wine at €11.95 (on offer from €13.95).
