On Thursday 5th October, The Loop at Dublin and Cork Airports welcomed guests to the Joy of Giving Exclusive Christmas Preview.
The evening offered a true flavour of all The Loop has to offer, both at Christmas and throughout the rest of the year. Guests were treated to Jo Malone hand massages, a makeover by MAC and skin pampering advice from Khiel’s.
The Dublin-based Mornington Singers were on-hand to entertain guests with classic Christmas carols whilst they explored the venue.
The Loop, which has expanded its gin range by 40% in the last year, ensured gin connoisseurs were well catered for, with Irish owned Gunpowder gin onsite to create signature cocktails.
A surprise performance from Irish band Keywest rounded off the evening’s entertainment for event guests, including Samantha Mumba, Triona McCarthy and Chef Adrian.
The Joy of Giving campaign aims to promote the simple joy that can be found in giving a gift to a loved one. To help consumers get the most out of the festive season, The Loop offers an alternative, hassle-free Christmas shopping experience, with a range of travel exclusives on offer.
The Joy of Giving Event comes at a time of celebration for The Loop, following their astounding success at this week’s Frontier Awards 2017 and the Drinks International Travel Retail Awards 2017, where they scooped awards for their partnership initiative with Diageo for the Guinness Export House, located in Terminal 2.
Shop and Collect also allows customers to purchase items at Dublin Airport with the added benefit of storing these purchases on site until the customer returns to Ireland. A text is also sent to each passenger using this service to remind them to pick up their goods when they arrive back to Dublin Airport.
The Loop’s Click and Collect service allows you to browse and purchase up to 12 hours in advance of your flight via www.theloop.ie. Your purchases can then be picked up on departure or when you arrive back to the airport.
