The First Ever Michelin Starred Street Food Stall is Coming to Dublin

It may be called Tiger Street Eats, but we’ll be sprinting faster than a cheetah to get to this pop-up eatery next month.

Tiger Street Eats, the first ever Michelin starred street food experience, is coming to 23 Portobello Harbour in Dublin from Thursday-Saturday, July 20th to 22nd.

Teaming up with Tiger Beer, Tiger Street Eats’ three day residency will offer guests a unique and exciting food experience, straight from the streets of Singapore.

Chef Chan Hon Meng will bring his unique take on Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle to Ireland. Speaking to Eater magazine earlier this year, he described his recipe, saying:

“My recipe is a very unique take on the Soya Sauce Chicken, which is served by other hawkers in their own style. The Michelin Star has opened up the doors not only for me, but has brought global attention to the hawker community as a whole.”

Tiger Street Eats first launched in Sydney and has travelled to Auckland, New York City and Kuala Lumper. And now, Irish people are going to get the chance to experience this great initiative.

From the décor to the dishes, everything about Tiger Street Eats will be sure to whet the appetites of food lovers in Dublin.

Speaking about the collaboration, Brand Manager for Tiger Beer at Heineken Ireland Deirdre O’Shea said: “The Tiger Street Eats event is all about rewarding consumers who seek to live life with more bite.

Street food is made for sharing and Tiger Beer is the perfect beer to share it with. It’s a full bodied beer that embraces all the flavours of Singapore, where it has been influenced by the diversity of the streets upon which it was raised.”

Tickets for this gastronomic event go on sale on Tuesday, June 27th and can be purchased here. They’re a real bargain at €10 for a three course meal and a complimentary Tiger Beer, so book early to avoid disappointment.
