Mount Juliet Estate to host their premiere ‘Meet The Maker’ Wine Dinner Tasting Experience

Mount Juliet Estate are hosting their premiere ‘Meet The Maker’ wine tasting evening this coming June 12th in the Michelin star and 3 AA Rosette Lady Helen restaurant. This special evening will explore the wines of the Weingut Malat Estate. A distinctive selection of his wines will be paired with an exceptional menu created by Lady Helen Head Chef John Kelly.

Michael Malat will introduce the wines on the evening. Michael says, “I want to make wines that are wonderful not only to taste, but especially to drink.The Weingut Malatestate has been producing wine since 1722 and Michael represents the 10th generation in his family to be involved in this prestigious winery. Having gained valuable experience working in vineyards around the world he returned to manage the family estate in 2008.

Guests will be welcomed to a sparkling wine reception with a glass of Malat Brut Nature Reserve 2014 Winnersektsparkling wine, prior to taking their seat in the Lady Helen where they will enjoy a tasting with Head Chef John Kelly and Wine maker Michael Malat for the 6 Course Tasting Menu and wine pairing in the Lady Helen Restaurant.
