Oktoberfest at The Open Gate Brewery: Oktoberfestbier and German Food Await you

Guinness will celebrate Oktoberfest with a two-day beer and food festival at The Open Gate Brewery on the 29th & 30th of September. Three native German Guinness brewers based at St. James’s Gate Brewery -Marcus Bengelstorff, Jasmin Winterer and Peter Vollrath- will present a beer they have have collaborated on for the occasion.

Their Oktoberfestbier’ a traditional German style beer, will be on tap for the festival, and will remain on tap for the month of October alongside a number of other small batch German brews.

Oktoberfest at The Open Gate Brewery will also feature some of Ireland’s finest German food producers including German Master Butcher James McGeough of McGeough’s Butchers in Connemara, Dublin’s Krüst Bakery and Longford’s Herterich Family Artisan Meats, originally from Bavaria in Germany. Traditional German bites will complement the selection of German beers available on tap during the event.

WHERE: The Open Gate Brewery, the home of experimentation and innovation at St. James’s Gate Brewery.

WHEN: Thursday 29th and Friday 30th of September, 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm.

Tickets are priced at €15 which includes entry, a flight of beer and complimentary authentic German food including pretzels and bratwurst. Over 18’s only.
