Osprey Hotel Temporarily Closes Spa to Make Way For Impressive €1.1M Renovations

The Osprey Hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare has temporarily closed the doors of its spa in order to make way for €1.1 million renovation works.

The major works will see the creation of a brand new, state of the art spa, which will boast luxury features, fittings and facilities.

Designed by celebrity architect and star of RTÉ’s Home of the Year, Hugh Wallace, the impressive 10,000 square foot spa will be spread out over two floors.

Spacious and soothing, the spa will include an extensive thermal suite with several heating and cooling experiences for guests.

The thermal suite has been designed in such a way as to allow guests to enjoy a complete spa journey, with facilities including a sauna, steam room, solarium, rasul chamber, rain showers, seaweed baths, dry flotation room, hot tub and heated loungers.

The second floor of the spa will have 7 treatment rooms, including a couple’s room with both light and dark relaxation rooms. A separate beauty salon will have a nail bar, pedicure thrones, waxing salon and spray tan area.

During the renovations, guests can continue to enjoy pampering treatments in the main hotel, where a number of suites have been converted to treatment rooms.

The Osprey Hotel is owned and operated by PREM Group, who have already overseen the opening of the newly refurbished gym in January 2017 and the launch of the new Herald & Devoy restaurant last summer.

Commenting on the works, Jim Murphy, CEO of PREM Group said: “The ongoing investments to The Osprey demonstrate PREM Group’s commitment to make this one of Leinster’s finest getaway locations.

“We have had an incredibly busy 18 months, which began with the upgrading of the gym, the newly designed lobby and the creation of a brand new restaurant. The next phase of the development was always earmarked to be renovations of the spa.”

He added: “We are confident that the new spa will be a great addition to the overall complex and will be popular among residents and clients of the hotel on a regular basis.”
