Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud Enjoys Record Year

Ireland’s only two star Michelin restaurant enjoyed its best year ever in 2013, with 2014 shaping up to be even better, according to the manager of Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud.

Commenting on recently filed accounts for the Dublin establishment, an upbeat Stephane Robin said that “2013 was excellent at the restaurant and 2014 is even better”.

Mr. Robin continued that 2014 has to date been their busiest year since they opened 33 years ago.

Accounts filed for Becklock Ltd show that the restaurant’s accumulated profits increased by €80,254 to €356,256 in the 12 months to the end of August 2013. The firm’s cash pile also increased in that period to €749,471, an increase of 118%.

Mr. Robin, the restaurant’s manager since 1986, said in the accounts that since 2008, “We have just put our heads down and concentrated on our work,” and that “The consistency of the food has been absolutely crucial to the business”.
