There’s Delicious Viewing Ahead With RTE’s New Autumn Line Up

As the darker evenings set in, there’s nothing better than curling up in front of the TV. RTE’s new autumn schedule makes it easier than ever to unwind with a glass of wine catching some of our favourite old shows and becoming addicted to new ones, with 60 brand new additions joining returning classics.

Foodies are always spoiled with RTE’s shows, and this season is no different with Ireland’s favourite chef, Neven Maguire, returning to our screens with two new shows. First up on Neven’s Italian Food Trails, Neven will explore the cuisine of the terra madre, having visited Venice, Parma, Florence, Sorrento and many more places and he promises that the food we will see has been “some of the best I have ever eaten.”

As the festive season sets in, Neven will be on hand to help us tackle all the food dilemmas catering for Christmas brings with Neven’s Christmas Special. Also scheduled to make festive dining simple is Rory O’Connell of Ballymaloe Cookery School, who will feature in How To Cook Well At Christmas.

For those of us with a love of food and green fingers, there will be a masterclass in how to grow your own herbs and vegetables called Grow, Cook, Eat.

The Today Show with Maura and Daithí is also expected to feature some new and exciting cooks to brighten up your afternoon and give you some inspiration to get into the kitchen yourself.
