Saba Baggot Street puts a Thai Twist on Brunch

You might not associate Thai food with weekend brunch but Saba Baggot Street are about to change that having introduced their new brunch menu.

Available in the new Saba location on Baggot Street, the Thai inspired brunch has been created by head chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana and focuses on fresh and healthy ingredients with authentic Thai flavours.

Dishes include the Full Thairish, Thai Eggs Florentine with a chilli hollandaise sauce and Saba’s take on Pancakes, made from coconut milk, sweetcorn and butternut squash and served with a fresh pineapple compote.

For the more adventurous foodie, Saba will also be offering traditional Thai breakfast dishes including a Minced Pork and Prawn Congee, a slow cooked rice porridge dish and delicious Patongo, Thai style donuts.

Saba’s team of expert mixologists have also created a range of cocktails specifically tailored for the brunch offering. The Lady Nak is a Thai inspired Bloody Mary €10.95 and the Dragon Mimosa is made with dragon fruit, orange juice and Prosecco €11.50.

Paul Cadden, owner of Saba said: “We are delighted to extend our menu to include a brunch offering. It is a trend we have seen become increasingly popular and we are excited to offer our customers traditional Thai breakfasts as well as brunch favourites with our own Thai twist.”

Saba’s Thai brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am to 4pm. For bookings call 01 563 1999 or log onto www.sabadublin.com.
