The Perfect Tasty January Treat – Saba’s Caveman Month is Back

If you’re trying to embrace healthier eating as a New Year’s resolution, you’ll be delighted to hear that Cavemen Month is back From January 8th to January 28th 2018 in Saba. Both Saba and Saba To Go will be offering a dedicated Paleo menu inspired by Saba favourites.

Dishes from the Caveman menu will include Panang Chicken, with chicken fillet, sweet potato, broccoli, kaffir lime leave and served in a paleo friendly panang curry sauce and our Chargrilled Sirloin Steak served with broccoli, Chinese leaves, bok choy and carrots in a paleo red curry sauce.

The paleo menu, created by head chef Taweesak Trakoolwattana, is very popular among the Irish consumers. The menu is packed with delicious Thai flavours, with a focus on fresh and healthy ingredients.

Paleo is a dairy free, wheat free, soya free, and legume free healthy eating plan which has become increasingly popular among health and fitness enthusiasts and is a great way to kick start your New Year. The new recipes, which are packed full of nutritious ingredients and antioxidants stay true to Saba’s healthy ethos.

Paul Cadden, owner of Saba said: “We are delighted to welcome The Caveman Festival back to Saba and Saba To Go this January for its fourth year. This menu is a hit with customers who are trying to make those healthy lifestyle choices in the New Year. We have also embraced the Paleo lifestyle in both the restaurants and the takeaways, food doesn’t have to be boring to be healthy and that is an area we have worked hard on to get the flavours just right.”
