As an island, Ireland has access to some of the best seafood produce in the world. From oysters both native and gigas to freshly caught fish prepared right in front of you, Irish seafood is nearly impossible to beat.

Dublin is our capital city and as a result, it boasts a huge number of high quality seafood eateries. From city centre venues to the suburbs of Howth and Malahide, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Below you’ll find our list of Dublin’s best seafood restaurants – they’re sure to reel you in!

Their primary supplier, Dublin Bay Prawns, is a real family affair with Sean’s brother Padraig running the business. So sit back, relax and taste some of the dishes at the Oar House, including Cajun Style Calamari, Smoked Mackerel Pate, Baked Oysters, Crab Claws and of course, lightly battered Dublin Bay Prawns served with a homemade tartar sauce.
