Marks & Spencer celebrated the launch of their 2017 Spirit of Summer Food Collection on Tuesday evening, 13th June in The Woollen Mills Rooftop Terrace, Dublin 1. The event was attended by 60 of Ireland’s well known foodies and influencers who sampled the most delicious food and drink products from the exciting range.
Inspired by the authentic flavours of the Mediterranean, this year’s collection encapsulates the feeling of only needing a knife and fork to travel this summer.
Members of the media were taken on a unique culinary journey at the event, experiencing the best regional dishes and ingredients from Sicily to Santorini and Barcelona to Beirut showcased at four food market stalls – “From the Grill”, “Salad Bar”, “Pizza” and “Sweet Treats”.
Guests were also treated to hand rolled ice-cream designed by Arctic Stone, using M&S Spirit of Summer gelato flavours, Strachiatella and Tiramisu . Alongside all these delicious dishes, a selection of fresh new flavours from the Spirit of Summer drinks range including Murcia Lemon Bucks Fizz, Blood Orange Negroni and a fiery Bloody Mary cocktail went down a treat.
