Suesey Street Launch Party & Gallery

Dublin’s newest social destination Suesey Street celebrated its official opening recently. Located on the corner of Fitzwilliam Place, the venue offers an informal approach to drinking and dining. The outdoor terrace was the place to be as a stylish crowd made the most of the balmy weather.

Ice cold beer and summer cocktails were the order of the evening as talk of summer plans filled the air. Suesey Street’s owner Fiona Kelly welcomed guests and was the perfect host. She has been working on the new venture since early this year and was understandably delighted with the end result. Entertainment on the night was by a very cool band called The FitzaFrenic, who Fiona Kelly spotted busking on Grafton Street just the previous day!

The Suesey Street name harks back Georgian times and was the original name for Leeson Street in the 1700s. Promising good times in the bar, great food from the kitchen and a relaxed vibe on the terrace the new place is sure to be a big hit with the in-crowd.

ABOUT SUESEY STREET

“There is a new social destination in Dublin as Suesey Street has opened on Fitzwilliam Place, promising good times in the bar, great food from the kitchen and a relaxed vibe on the terrace. The Suesey Street name harks back to Georgian times and was the original name for Leeson Street in the 1700s. The venue was formerly Brasserie Le Pont and now offers a more informal approach to drinking and dining.

The three main areas (bar, restaurant and terrace) have been redesigned and refurbished to create a welcoming space full of atmosphere and comfort. The entrance bar is laid-back luxe, its beautiful marble top gleams under the warm glow cast from the lamps. A carefully curated art collection reflects the louche atmosphere of the dining room, with a cheeky nod to the clientele of the old Leeson Street era.” Read More
