Feed the Senses with Spanish Food and Live Music at Tapas Tuesday at Le Plancha

If the sound of spending an evening indulging in tapas and wine with the soft coos of the spanish guitar playing in the background sounds good to you then you’ll want to make plans to head to Monkstown this Tuesday.

Tapas Tuesday is a new dining concept at Le Plancha restaurant that will be running each week, with live music between 7pm and 9.30pm.

Along with nightly specials, the menu includes the likes of Chicken and Chorizo Paella, Gambas Pil Pil King Prawns and paprika marinated Skewered Chicken.

Tapas range in price from €5-10,and there’s also Carlingford Lough Oysters at €2.50 at pop, a Spanish Plate for €16 and steak a la plancha, served with all the trimmings, starting from €28.

Formerly located in Blackrock, Le Plancha has been settled in its new home in Monkstown only since last September.

Owners Andrew Lawlor and Eimear Brannelly are continuing to keep things fresh and along with Tapas Tuesday have developed a new bar area in the restaurant from where they are serving light bites and draught beer.

Kicking off last month, the Monkstown favourite’s new brunch menu is served every Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 3pm, and including this Bank Holiday Monday.
