DublinTown’s New Site Aims to Highlight Dublin’s Unique Features
Yesterday 8th of June, DublinTown launched its new site UniqueToDublin.ie dedicated to highlight all the places, experiences and features that are exclusive to Dublin. With over 1,000 businesses that are completely unique to the city, 30 of them trading for over a century, and plenty of unequaled offers both for locals and tourists, this promises to give some well deserved spotlight to cherished sites and hiden gems.
The launch was celebrated with a collaboration between DublinTown and photographer Evan Doherty, who created a special collection of prints encapsulating the people behind the businesses that make the city one of a kind. The collection was unveiled at The Grand Social and it will tour several key locations in Dublin later this month.
Influencers and well-known people from many respected Dublin institutions, including James Patrice, 98FM’s Big Breakfast Presenters Cooper and Luke, Thomas Smith of Grogans and Paul Byrne of BodyByrne Fitness, have also joined the initiative and will appear in a series of videos to be shared across DublinTown’s social media channels.
“We have so much to be proud of in Dublin but we sometimes take our great characters and attractions for granted. We invite Dubliners and our visitors to rediscover this great city”, said Richard Guiney, Chief Executive Officer of DublinTown.
