Independent Café Vagabond Coffee Opened in Temple Bar Today

Temple Bar might be known for its pubs, but the area has been upping its food and café game and today 22nd of August it has welcomed a new venue which will please fans of fine arabica beans. Vagabond Coffee, located on 1 Cope Street, which will focus on speciality coffee, fine teas and homemade treats.

Dominik Mielech, head Barista, told TheTaste that coffee aficionados will enjoy a great cup as he’ll be brewing beans from Square Mile Coffee Roasters, a prestigious coffee roasting company based in East London.

“Expect, for sure, very high quality coffee, fresh homemade treats and good vibes”, he said.

The venue will open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, although Dominik pointed out they might change the opening hours as they adjust. Vagabond Coffee features a small indoors sitting area and a couple of outdoors tables. The venue’s name is inspired in Dominik’s years as a backpacker, during which he travelled from Poland through Europe before settling in Ireland.
