Already Dreaming of Your Weekend Coffee? Here’s Your Perfect Café

Are you already dreaming about the weekend? Don’t worry, so are we. If you’re looking for a new coffee spot or want to try out some serious food, we have just the café for you.

Fable and Stey in Blackrock is already making its name on the Dublin coffee scene. As a sister café to the already established Laine, My Love, Little Frieda’s and Fia Café, you know you’re in for a treat.

Here the coffee is supplied by Roasted Brown, bread is supplied by Bread Nation Ireland and their vegetables come from McNally Farm, so you can expect lots of fresh and seasonal produce.

They freshly bake all of their cakes in houses such as orange and almond & pistachio cake – the perfect pick-me-up treat with your freshly roasted coffee.

For breakfast, you’ll find the usual avocado and eggs but spiced up with additions like house fermented hot sauce, salsa and dukkah.

Fable and Stey serve up changing weekly specials with delicious options like hummus plates with pan-fried mushrooms, grilled Padron peppers, herby salad, pickles and sourdough bread.

There are lots of drinks options too if you’re not a coffee lover (surely everyone loves this heaven-sent beverage?). Fable and Stey have refreshing homemade lemonades and sodas and a good variety of flavoured teas too.

This new Blackrock staple is open from Tuesday – Friday from 8.00am – 4.00pm and at weekends from 10.00am – 4.00pm. Pop in this weekend and sample some of the culinary delights on offer, and don’t forget to leave room for those amazing cakes.
