Enjoy Incredible Wines for Less than Half Price on Wine Wednesdays at Suesey Street

In what we think might be one of the most inspired ways to get over the hump in the week, Simon Keegan, sommelier at Suesey Street and Number 25 Fitzwilliam Place has newly introduced Wine Wednesdays.

If you would like to expand your knowledge on wine join Simon and the team at Suesey Street every Wednesday from 6pm to 9.30pm. This is a great opportunity to discover and explore different grapes and regions and with some wonderful bottles of wine at less than half price.

Wines that be included are Chablis, Les Vaucopins Domaine Long-Depaquit 2014, normally listed at €79 this will be priced at €34 per bottle, and Brunello di Montalcino Poggio San Polo 2010 usually priced at €105 will be just €45.

Other great offers include Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières Alain Chavy reduced from € 120 to €49 and Malbec Vista Flores, Bodegas Catena 2014 down from €44 to €15.

Guests will also be able to pair their wine from the local and seasonal menu from head chef Gareth Naughton.

Simon, originally from Kenya, started his career at the K club as a Assistant Sommelier. With various other sommelier experience he then became head sommelier at Four Seasons.

While at the Four Seasons he represented Ireland in the European Sommelier Competition in 2002, and in 2008 he went one step further attending the World Sommelier Competition.

A former President of the Irish Guild of Sommeliers, in 2016 he made his move to Suesey Street and Number 25 Fitzwilliam Place in 201.6.

A weekly celebration of wine choices at exceptional prices, Wine Wednesdays is just one of the ways Simon is striving to share his passion and knowledge about wine at the venues.
